Carolyn Joyce Marona age 73, of Leighton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015. Her visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2015 from 11-1 p.m. in our chapel with the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens .Brother Charles James is officiating.
She was preceded in death by her Husband; John Franklin Marona, Grandson; Jerred Alan Bowles; Brother; Thomas Nichols; Sister; Ann Gibson.
Survivors are her Daughters; Sherry Marona Bowles (David), Melinda Carol Marona Logan (Bradley) Gandchildren; Ashley Logan Kennamore (Daniel), Emily Bowles Lanier (Aaron), Ryan Logan (April) and Hannah Logan; Great Grandchildren Payton Lanier and Logan Kennamore, Brother; Troy Wilburn Nichols (Jo-Ann), Sister; Pat Nichols Minor and a Host of Loving Nieces and Nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Ryan Logan, Jerred Alan Bowles ( Memory Ribbon), Daniel James Kennamore, Michael Aaron Lanier, Jeremy Lane Nichols and Patrick Albert Minor.
Carolyn was a member of Hatton Baptist Church ,an avid gardener, and was known around the Tri-Cities area for her homemade Jellies.
