Doris Ann McCord Sugg, 75, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. Mrs. Sugg was the eldest child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Irby and Helen McCord Cherry of Union City, TN. Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Sugg was a graduate of Union City High School Class of 1959 and lived in the Shoals area most of her life. She was retired from the State of Alabama ABC Enforcement Office.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Thomas Sugg. She leaves behind their three children, Mack Sugg, Muscle Shoals, AL, Steve Sugg (Sherri), Oklahoma City, OK and Amy Sugg Molina (Al), Gulf Breeze, FL.; Four grandchildren, Coral Molina, Jake Molina, Jennifer Ehlers, Tommy Sugg and one great-grandchild, Bella Ehlers ;one brother, Jimmy McCord (Linda), and Sister-in-Law Sue Sugg Moore Neman (Johnny). Six nephews and 2 nieces, as well as,her beloved dog, Lily and a host of other family, friends, and neighbors that she thought the world of.
