Dorothy Crowden Obituary

Dorothy Louise Harrison Crowden, 87, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Ben Hayes will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Evie Harrison; 1st husband, Sherman Wesson; son, Gary Wesson.

She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate of 37 years, Hollis H. Crowden; daughter, Doris Highland (Jimmy); step-daughter, Phyllis Melton (Randall); brothers, Kenneth Harrison, Charles Harrison (Ruth), and Donald Harrison (Cheryl); sisters, Gertrude Butler (Bill), Barbara Murphy (Raymond), and Elaine Wear; four grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
