Douglas Wade Evans, 72, of Town Creek, AL passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The service will be Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Brother Brian McCutcheon and Marty Evans will be officiating the service. He was a member of East Colbert Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Virglyn Evans; brothers, James Evans and Charles Evans; sisters, Jewel Patterson and Wilma Oswalt.
Survivors are Stephen Lynn Evans (Stephanie) and Bradley Dewayne Evans (Belinda); brothers, David Evans (Anita), Thomas Evans (Geanetter), Wayne Evans (Regina), and Marty Evans (Linda); sisters, Myrle Dewberry (Tony), Judy Patterson (Dennis), and Susan Bevis (Robert); grandchildren, Tye Evans, Tyler Evans, Haley Evans, and Easton Evans.
