Earl Howard Fisher, 73, of Leighton, AL passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 1-3pm at Colbert Memorial with service to follow in the chapel at 3pm. Earl was a loving husband, father, brother, and pawpaw. Burial will be in Vandiver Hollow Cemetery. Roger Bonds will be officiating the service. He was a member of Local 477 for 30 plus years.
Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and James Fisher; brothers, John and Charlie Fisher; sister, Louise Daniel.
Survivors are his wife, Dorthia “Dot” Fisher; daughter, Patricia Fisher Tippett (Larry) sons, Richie Fisher (Evelyn), Howard Fisher (Melinda); grandchildren, Dillon Mills, Shelby Ferguson (Charles), Maranda Hogeland (Dane), Kaitlen Fisher (Austin), Morgan Mills, Kelly Edmond and Jamie Murray (Kim), Sarah Tippett and Emily Thorne (Jacob). Great grandchildren, Ella Kate; Easton, Hayden, Casey “ToJo”, Emily, Madison, Ashlyn; brothers, Claude Fisher (Susan), Billy Fisher (Nancy),Gene Fisher (Tammy): sisters, Pearl Stonecipher (Lile), Rosie Wright (Bobby), Joyce Coggins, Kathy Smith (Laney), a host of loving nieces and nephews and a special friend, Frank Sutphin and loving sister-in-law’s Darlene Dean and Betty Jo King (Ronnie), and brother-in-law Athel (Mary Ann).
Pallbearers will be Jamie Fisher, Dan Coggins, Jim Fisher, Joel Fisher, Anthony White, Brock Fisher, Eric Fisher, and Ryan Fisher.
