Elsie Joyce Ogletree

            Elsie Jean Ogletree,85, of Muscle Shoals passed away Feb.28, 2015.  She was the daughter of Harvey and Minnie Fuller.  She is survived by her grandson, Bryan Ogletree, sister, Jewell  Posey, both of Muscle Shoals and daughter-in-law, Wanda Ketcham of Steele, Ala.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Minnie Fuller; brothers, Homer Fuller and H.G. Fuller; sisters, Beatrice Askew and Joy McCain; husband, Earl Ogletree, and son, Larry Ogletree.  Mrs. Ogletree was retired from Shoals Hospital where she worked as a nurse.  She was a very loving mother and grandmother as well as an active member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church where she thoroughly enjoyed participating in events with her Sunday School class. 

            Visitation for Mrs. Ogletree will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 6-9 pm at Colbert Memorial Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be at Noon, Wednesday, March 4 at Colbert Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Timmy Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be John Elliott, Jon Mroz, Michael Hitt, Josh Johnston, Andy Posey, Mitch Hamm, Sandy Ketcham, David Fuller, and Ricky Ogletree.  Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Ogletree and J.T. Harrison.  The family would like to thank the entire medical staff at ECM Hospital as well as Dr. Lango, Dr. Holden, and Dr. Hart.
