Emery E. Pitman, age 77 of Sheffield. AL., passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015. Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 2-3 PM at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with memorial service to follow at 3 PM. Colbert Memorial Chapel will be assisting the family.
He was preceded in death by parents Richard Pitman and Marjorie Platt as well as his beloved wife, Patricia Logan Pitman.
Survivors are son; Chet Young (Sue), daughters; Angelia Pitman (Curt Ladnier), Tracie Cardwell (Clay), Teana Swisher (Rick), brothers; Richard Pitman, Jr., and Wayne Ross, sisters; Gloria Wilcox and Patty Hudson, grandchildren; Tamren Cardwell, Kira Cardwell, Trisha Dean, Pamela Swisher, Elizabeth Swisher and Jonthan Mitchell, great grandchildren; Xandra Cardwell.
