Evie Lee McDougle, Age 94, of Muscle Shoals, AL., passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM at Colbert Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Phillip Wright and Brother Charlie James will be officiating. She was the wife to the late Unes McDougle. She was a member of Washington Park Baptist Church, and retired from Shoals Nursing Home after twenty plus years of loyal service. Evie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed quilting.
Preceded in death by husband, Unes McDougle, and eleven siblings.
Survivors are sons, Wesley Ray McDougle (Ina) of Muscle Shoals, Alton Lamar McDougle (Shirley) of Selmer, Tennessee, Melvin Paul McDougle (Jo Ann) of Muscle, Shoals, and Russell Lee Randolph (Shirley) of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Patricia Alene Adkins of Talladega, Al; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Opal Johnson of Tuscumbia, Al, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Anthony McDougle, Tim McDougle, Mike McDougle, Chris McDougle, Devin Adkins, and Mark Adkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Wright, Caleb McDougle, Ross McDougle, Collin Wright, Wes McDougle and Gunner Jackson.
