Frances Elizabeth Willis

Frances Elizabeth Aigner Willis, 95, of Muscle Shoals, passed away at her home on Monday, October 16, 2017 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 10-11 A.M. at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church with Mass to follow. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Marlene, Joe, Rose, and Anita Willis, Carolyn W. Bennett, Cathy Lucas and son-in-law Tom Lucas, and Martha Day; sister, Martha Ann Staley, along with eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and her loving caregiver, Edith Warren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Aigner Gattman and Joseph Aigner; husband, Macon Paul Willis; son, James Edward, and sister, Catherine Poole.

Frances retired from TVA in 1984 and enjoyed volunteering, and gardening, and took great joy and comfort from her loving pets. The family expresses appreciation to Hospice, all her caregivers, with special thanks to Edith, Nancy, and Stephanie.
