GH Terry

GH Terry, 83, of Muscle Shoals, AL left this world for his eternal home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2017 from 12-2 P.M. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Matt Fowler will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Courtland Cemetery.

GH was a member of Grace Life Church, a veteran of the United States Army and a native of Lawrence County. For over thirty years, he touched many lives and led many to Christ as a pastor and a singer in The Corinthian Quartet. He was an appraiser for Colbert County Court House for over 30 years.

GH lived a blessed life and will be remembered as a godly man with a powerful tenor voice, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Cobb Terry, sons: Max Terry, Keith Terry (Kathy), Scott Terry (Karen) and Kim Terry (Susan); step-daughters Amy Bishop (Britt) and Amber Montoya; grandchildren, Kristopher Terry (Laine), Suzanne Terry Barnes (Steven), Kurtis Terry (Hannah), Amanda Terry, Cody Terry (Morgan), Caroline and Jacob Bishop, Gracie, Adleigh, and Josie Montoya; great-grandchildren, Jacob Barnes, Jonah and Piper Terry; sister Doris Terry Wann.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaither and Julia Terry, late wife and mother of his children, Margaret Thompson Terry, son; GH Terry, Jr. and brother-in-law Tommy Wann.

Pallbearers will be Kristopher Terry, Kurtis Terry, Cody Terry, Jacob Bishop, Brian Hall and Richard Hall.

Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
