Howard Eugene Craig

Gene Craig, 61, of Russellville, passed away on Sat., Nov. 18, 2017 at Helen Keller Hospital. Gene was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Visitation with friends and family will be Mon., Nov. 20, 2017 from noon-2 P.M. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2 P.M. in the chapel. Burial will be in Gargis Cemetery.  Officiating the Service will be Brother Jerry Crowden.

Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Craig; brother, Jeff Craig; and great-grandson, Estaban.

Gene is survived by his wife, Teresa Craig; father, Howard Craig; nana, Barbara Lindsey; daughter, Katie Alexander (Kenny Rhodes); son, Farrell Craig (Sandy); stepson, Dillon Green; grandchildren, MaKenzie Craig, Kaden Alexander, Cole Craig, and Dylan Alexander; sisters, Vicky Jefferys (Tim), Debbie McInnish (Gary); honorary brother, David Hamm; honorary sisters, Bobbie Hamm and Allison Campbell; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Pallbearers will be, Tim Jefferys, Danny Keenum, Kaden Alexander, Bodie Devaney, Michael George, and Kenny Rhodes.

Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Woods, Ever Marroquin, Andrew McGregor, Dylan Alexander, and Greg Garrett.

Special thanks to Dr. Patel, Dr. Kayfan and staffs, nurses on the 4th floor at Helen Keller Hospital, and Hospice of North Alabama for the care given to our dear loved one.
