I wish to express my deepest sympathy to Shawn and the family. Steve and I worked together, in banking, for several years. I found him to be a kind and fair man always working to fulfill the needs of his customers. He will be missed and long remembered by co-workers, customers, friends and most of all by his family.. May God comfort the family, he so loved and leaves behind.

Shawn, Melissa, Kimberly, and Linda. My heart breaks for you all with the news of Steve's passing. As our God is a God of comfort, I pray that his loving arms are wrapped around you and bring you peace, comfort and understanding. May you all be comforted by God's promise of the resurrection (John 6:40) which assures us that we will see our loved ones again!

Melanie and I want to pass along our deepest sympathies to Shawn and all the Family. A friendship that has grown over the last 15 years is something we cherish. Our travels with Shawn and Steve to incredible sites in Scotland and Ireland are fresh in our memories and when we remember Steve after the tears are gone we will recall the laughter, his wonderful smile and the joy of times spent together. Steve was so full of love for Shawn and his family that when he and I spoke the conversation circled around to his family quickly and I could sense his pride and love for each of you. Missing one my best friends in the whole world. Love to all. Clay Vandiver

To the family and friends of Steve:
I was so very saddened to learn of Steve's passing. Steve has always been an inspiration to those who knew him and/or worked with him. He will be dearly missed, but long remembered for how he brought out the best in those around him. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
