Lillian (Ruby) Smith, age 79, of Leighton, AL passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Brother Hershel Quinn will be officiating the service. She was a member of Blythe Memorial Methodist Church.
Ruby was preceded in death by parents, W.H. Johnson and Beatrice Johnson; son, Phillip Smith; daughter, Beverly Smith.
She is survived by son, Terry Smith of Leighton, AL; daughter, Jana Pennington (Roger) of Leighton, AL; brothers, Wendell, Travis, Kenneth and Frank Johnson; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Davenport, Brandon Davenport, Jordan Smith, Tyson Johnson, Grant Johnson and Scott Oliver.
