Loyd “Buster” Simmons, 76, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at The Main Street Center in Tiptonville, Tennessee. Buster was of Apostolic Faith. He was a farmer for most of his life and devoted to preaching the Word of the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Les and Dorothy Simmons; son, Nick Simmons; and sisters, Wanda Wilson and JoAnn Hamlin.
Survivors include his wife of 52 magnificent years, Glenda Simmons; daughters, Melissa Manuel (Tony) and Casey Pulley (Derrick); grandchildren, Tony, Brandon, Miranda, Chastity, Nathaniel, and Dillon; great-granddaughter, Kyndra; brothers, Steve, Robert, Ricky, and Craig Simmons; sister; Ruth Ann Brumley; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other loving family.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
