Marie (Clingan) Kubitza

Marie Clingan Kubitza was translated into the presence of her Savior and King on the morning of December 16, 2017. She made the journey at home surrounded by her husband, Bob, her son, Daniel and his wife, Kimberly, along with  her beloved grandbabies, Davian Renee, Nathaniel, and Stephen.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Larry, Ivo, Louise, Ruby, Jr., and Ray.

She will be greatly missed by those who remain; Mildred Royce and husband, Jim; Alice Black, Martha Canida, Hubert Clingan, W.C. and Peggy Wilson, Bud Williams, Joan Clingan and all of her precious nieces and nephews.

Marie made a positive impact on the people around her and did her best to live in a way that glorified Jesus and led others to Him. Her family and friends will continue to reap the seeds of faith she sowed, remembering her love and generosity.

Although she loved flowers, she would rather donations be made to Shoals Save-a-Life, a ministry she was very passionate about.

The family invites you to celebrate her time with us and the hope we have in Jesus’ power over the grave this afternoon at Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 3-4 P.M. with the funeral service to follow in the chapel at 4P.M. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
