Martha Louise Utley, 91, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 10-11a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 11 in the chapel. Brother Greg Beasley and Brother Truman Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. She retired from Bell South Telephone Company after 40 plus years of loyal service. Louise was the Co-Owner of Carl’s Restaurant for over 23 years.
Mrs. Utley is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Alexander Utley and grandson, Carlton Heath Utley.
She is survived by son, Carl Edward Utley; granddaughters, Michelle Utley and Shannon Faulk; great grandchildren, Alexah Reece, Carlon “Boo” Utley, Tatum Utley, Landon Alexander and Bella Faulk.
Pallbearers will be Harold Kimbrough, Keith Wright, Chris Moreland, Josh Broome, Matt Thompson and John Levea Riggs.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Spring Valley Fire Department at 860 Lagrange Rd, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
