Misty Michelle Matlock of Leighton, AL, 39, was born on July 4, 1977 and passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The service will be Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Bobby Rich and Brother Richard Parker will be officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Charles Roy Matlock; grandmothers, Shelby Jean Inman Coan and Mary Lou Ella Matlock and uncle, Greg Coan; grandfathers, Theron (Curly) Coan and Ovie D. Matlock.
Survivors are her mother, Debra Coan Matlock; paw, Robert Campbell; uncle, Michael Coan.
Pallbearers will be Billy Allen, Jerry Layne, Greg Lawson, Barry Thompson, Marty Vandiver, Greg Wood, Chad Thompson, Floyd Aday, Johnny Inman, and Charles Jr. Allen.
Misty loved music, especially karaoke with all her friends. She also loved sunglasses, purses, pencils, and gum. She never met a stranger and never forgot anyone she met. In Misty’s short life she touched many lives and has friends everywhere.
