Sammie Marie Aycock, 76, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 surrounded by her family. By the request of the family there was a private service held, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Colbert Memorial, Tuscumbia. Burial was in Colbert Memorial Gardens’, Garden of Rest. Bro. Shane Swinney officiated the service.
Sammie was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Aycock.
She is survived by her son, Gregory “Blake” Aycock; daughter, Vicki Renee Aycock; brother, Jessie Calvin Grigg; grandchildren, Ryan Andrew Young and Lauren Nicole Young. Faithful friend and beloved pet Sam.
Pallbearers were Eddie Murphree, Phillip Young, Ryan Young, Mike Prince, Harold Aycock and Keith Sockwell. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Sockwell.
