Sandra “Gail” Jackson, 61, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Monday, January 16, 2017. Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in the chapel at 6:00 p.m. She was the wife to Delmar Jackson and Nana to her precious Leelu and Arlo.
Preceded in death by parents, Archie and Maybell Higgins; sister, Shirley Risner; sister-in-law, Linda Higgins and Vera Miller; brother, Roger Dale Higgins; mother-in-law, Berdie Jackson and her beloved African Gray.
Survivors are husband of 39 wonderful years, Delmar Jackson; son, Stephen Gilchrist (Kendall); brothers, J.R. Higgins and Joe Higgins (Cindy); sister, Brenda Newman (Joel); granddaughter, Leelu Abigail Gilchrist and grandson, Arlo Thomas Gilchrist; a host of loving nieces and nephews and other family members.
