Tommy “Dooley” McDonald, 62, of Leighton, Alabama passed away Monday September 26, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. He was an Ironworker with the Local 477 for 41 years, a singer and musician, loved to hunt and fish, enjoyed playing sports, in the first band to play for the First Annual Saint Jude Trail Ride. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Tommy was a true All – American.
Preceded in death by parents, Elvin and Dorothy McDonald.
Survivors are wife of 44 years, Lou-Ann McDonald; sons, Terry McDonald of Leighton and Matthew McDonald of Leighton; grandsons, T.J. McDonald, Cole McDonald; granddaughter, Chloe McDonald, Paw’s Little Princess; sisters, Kaye Hale (Butch), and Renea McDonald; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Mike Coan, Chris McDonald, T.J. McDonald, Lane Morgan, Hunter Oltmer, Steve Gargis, and Jon Jon Vandiver.
