William Jack "Buddy" Coons

William Jack “Buddy” Coons, Sr., 78, of Tuscumbia, entered Heaven on February 04, 2018. Visitation will be at Colbert Memorial on Wednesday, February 07, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. There will be no funeral services as Brother Jack preached his funeral for the past 34 years living for Jesus Christ and sharing the Gospel. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey McKinley and Mary Francis Highfield Coons, son, Jamie McKinley Coons and sister Martha Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Annie Dawson Coons; sister, Betty Malone Davis; His children, Fran Robertson (Rick), Jackie Coons, Kristy Coons Blackburn (Ed), Donny Coons, Ricky Creasy, Ronnie Hall and Wanda Evans, Grandchildren, Ricky, Jorden, Michael-Ann, Morgan, Jake, Emily, Sam, Natalie and Great Grandchild Joshua,  Beloved nieces and nephews and friends.

He was the Pastor of Full Gospel Assembly of Christ in Tuscumbia, AL.  His passion was telling people about Jesus and winning souls to the Lord.  He loved making friends and always kept people laughing with his great sense of humor.

He is loved tremendously by his family and will be missed more than words can describe.
