William "Bill" K. Stanfield 74, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Saturday July 1, 2017 .Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 4:00 pm. – 5:00 p.m. at Cowboy Church of Colbert County, with a Celebration of life service to follow at 5:00 p.m. Officiating will be Brother Truman Sutton. He was a member of Cowboy Church of Colbert County, also a lifetime member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeder's and Exhibitor's Association with an earned professional trainer's certificate. He was retired from the Ironworkers Local 477.
William was preceded in death by his parents: William and Evelyn Stanfield and Sister Sarah Lynn Stanfield.
Survivors are his wife: Dorothy “Dot’ Stanfield, Sons: William K. Stanfield Jr. (Jennifer), Joseph ‘Jody’ Stanfield ( Tasha). Daughter: Susan Lynn Stanfield. 6 grandchildren; 1 Step- grandchild, 6 great grandchildren.
