Alvie L. McBride, 82 years of age, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his home. Alvie was born July 13, 1935. Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with the Funeral Service to follow. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery, Tuscumbia. He was a member of Isbell Chapel Baptist Church, Tuscumbia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and William McBride; his sons, Roger Dale McBride, Alvie Wayne McBride, and Alan Wade McBride.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Mae McBride; daughters, Sue Wallace (Barry), and Judy Bewley (Tom). He leaves behind nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry McBride, Cody Wallace, Brannon Willbanks, Chris Knight, Chris Johnson., and Clay Henley.
Honorary Pallbearers include Dillen Johnson and Titus Knight.
He is deeply loved and is dearly missed.
