Charles H. Austin, 74, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017. A memorial visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 1-2 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 2 pm. Brother David Mathis will be officiating. Charles was a veteran of the United States Airforce. He was a trucker for many years, and a member of Tuscumbia First Baptist Church.
Mr. Austin is preceded in death by parents, Arthur Lee and Mary Ruth Austin; sister, Carolyn Austin Adams.
He is survived by his wife of 53 wonderful years, Amelia “Amy” Austin; daughter, Pamela Kay Austin (Robert Hylton) and Christina Ruth Austin; grandchildren, Linzee Crunk Stevenson (Ben) and Austin Dale Hipps; great grandson, William Mac Stevenson; sister, Barbara Jean Watkins (Chester).
