Charles and Betty Bendall Obituary

Charles Ray Bendall, 78, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away April 28, 2018 followed by his wife of many years, Betty Louise Bendall on April 30, 2018. Visitation will be at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 11- 1 with funeral to follow at 1 in the chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Brother Gary Pace and Brother Scot Farris will officiate.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lillie Bendall.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mattie Lane.

They are survived by their son, Darol Bendall (Debra); grandchildren, Brian Bendall (Lori), Jennifer Bendall, and Rachel Bendall; great grandchildren, Olivia Berry and Madeleine Bendall. Louise is survived by her brother, Gerald Lane (Peggy).

Pallbearers will be Darryl Swindle, Jim Willis, Jack Willis, Eric Lane, Kevin Lane, and Brian Bendall.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lyman Mitchell for making Charles as comfortable as possible the last few days of his life. We would also like to thank the staff and nurses of PCU at Helen Keller Hospital for assisting in any way possible.

The family would also like to thank Spring Valley Fire Department, and everyone that helped in our time of need.
