Dessie Earline (Jackson) Tidwell

Dessie Earline Tidwell, 89, Tuscumbia passed away February 9, 2019. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The service will be held in the chapel Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 12 noon. Brother Jerry Beasley will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Pete” Tidwell; parents, Abraham and Mary Jackson; four brothers, Gene, Grady, Clayton, and Junior; two sisters, Marie and Nell; grandson, Jason Tidwell.

She is survived by her sons, Jessie Tidwell (Patsy), Horace Tidwell, and Wendel Tidwell; daughters, Rachel Kuecker (Jerry), Shirley Schneider (Butch), Dessie Pickens and Rebecca Lee (Kenneth); sister, Maggie Jane; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss Earline.
