Helen Marie (Roden) Fleming

Helen Marie Fleming, 86, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, April 26, 2018. Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2018 from noon-2 P.M. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2 P.M. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Micah Booth, Brother Greg Beasley, and Brother Kirk Bishop will officiate the service. Mrs. Fleming was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eueldean and Lillie Mae Roden; husband, William Guy Fleming; brother, Ray Roden; and sister, Ethel Masterson.

She is survived by her sons, Wendell Fleming (Kay) of Tuscumbia and Jackie Fleming (Sue) of Collierville, TN; daughters, Phyllis Myhan (Doug) of Muscle Shoals and Jan Flanagan (Lawrence) of Athens; brother, Hollis Roden (Agnes); sisters, Shirley Williams, Betty Springer, and Carolyn Edmond (William); grandchildren, Tamra Myhan, Kelly Myhan (Lisa), Dale Fleming (Sabrina), Kristi Garrett (Stacy), Wendy Baig (Zak), Clay Fleming (Lindsay), Jill Fleming (Chance), Jamie Goss (Jeremy), Micah Booth (Ashley), and Jarrod Flanagan (Katie); as well as 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Myhan, Stacy Garrett, Jeremy Goss, Jarrod Flanagan, Dale Fleming, and Clay Fleming.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or Beasley Lolley Cancer Fund, 121 Cotton Wood Drive, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661. Donations can also be made at your local CBS Bank for the Beasley Lolley Cancer Fund.
