Hershal Davenport Obituary
Hershel Lee Davenport, 74, Tuscumbia, AL passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at home. Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with Brother Chris Barnett officiating the service at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Hershel was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and received a Honorable Discharge in 1974.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Karen Marie Davenport, and parents, Robert Lee and Earlie Nora Davenport.
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Davenport Flannagan and special son-in-law, Billy “Jamie” Flannagan and Kelly Davenport Brooks (Ricky); sisters, Evon Rutland, Marie Weems, and Stella Bullion (Ed) all of Muscle Shoals; his grandchild, “The light of his life”, Zoe Grace Flannagan and other grandchildren, Kimberly Daniel Hawk; great grandchildren, Hayden and Kaylee Hawk; brother-in-law, Garl, Dale, and Kurt Perleberg and family.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bullion, Jake Flannagan, Daniel Hawk, Tod Perleberg, James Weems, and Daryl Johnson.

He will be missed terribly. He loved unconditionally.
