James Larry Staten

James Larry (Jimmy) Staten, 52, of Muscle Shoals, died on November 09, 2018.  Visitation will be   Monday, November 12, 2018 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 11-1 p.m. with a Celebration of life Service to follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Brother Butch Lee will officiate. Burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens.

James was an electrician and a member of the Local 852.

Preceding James in death was his wife, Judy Staten; and his grandparents.

Survivors include his sons, Jacob Staten, Devin Turbyfill, and Skyler Staten (Mercedes); daughters, Brittney McCuen (Mark), Chelsea Pate (Brandon), Reanna Goodman, and Isabella Goodman; father, Larry Staten (Hazel); mother, Dolores King (Sonny); grandchildren, Kaiden, Zoey, Arabella and AddaLynn, two unborn grandchildren , Ryleigh, and Annsleigh; two brothers, Marty King (Cindy) and Tim King (Rachel); two sisters, Cheryl Osborn (Terry) and LeAnn Bradley (Patrick); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jimmy was a loving father, son and brother.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He lived, he laughed and he loved
