Lance Price Barnes

Lance Price Barnes, 58, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Visitation will be Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Henry Melton will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park. Lance worked with Tuscumbia Utilities Department for 23 years. He was a member of Abundant Grace Church, and Local IBEW 558.Lance was an avid hunter and fisherman with a passion for cooking and grilling which he was posting for his many friends to see.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Allen and Mattie Belle Barnes; brother, Ronnie Barnes; niece, Kerry Fisher.

Survivors are his wife of 35 wonderful years, Judy Barnes; son, Zachary Lance Barnes; daughter, Carley Nicole Barnes; sisters, Deborah Fisher, and Connie Thompson (Will); host of loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Joey Wright, Erin Williams, Marcus Tate, Bradley Bump, Ron Lacks, Blake Smith, Reggie Wilson, and Chris Tate. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tuscumbia Utilities Department.
