Mala Sue Herron, 77, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 12 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in the chapel. Pastor Chad Beck will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member First Baptist of Littleville.
Mrs. Herron is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Myrtle Stevens; husband, Carroll Lloyd “Wormy” Herron; son, Randy Herron; brother, James Stevens.
She is survived by her sons, Bret and Kelly Herron (Tuscumbia) and Steve and Nicole Herron (Mountain Home, AR); grandchildren, Natasha and Brian Shackelford (Russellville) and Derrick and Crystal Herron (Phil Campbell); great grandchildren, Alyssa, Trent, and Caden Shackelford and Landen and Payten McClelland.
Pallbearers will be Brian “Spanky” Shackelford, Derrick Herron, Trent Shackelford, and Gary Autry. Honorary pallbearers are Caden Shackelford and Landen McClelland.
