Marcel (Allen) Carney

Marcel Carney, 95, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019. Her family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 12-2pm. Sunil Jessy, Greg Woodall, and Truman Sutton will officiate the funeral beginning at 2pm in the chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Marcel was a member of Hope Church of Muscle Shoals.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Carney; son, Gaius Russell; grandchildren, Tammy Pilkinton.

Marcel is survived by her daughter, Jocel “Jo” Burcham (Tommy); grandchildren, Terri Pognant (David), Tina Seals (Tony), Kirk Burcham, John Carney (Shea), Patrick Carney (Joey), Tracy Statom (Josh), Tricia Bassham (Chris), and Josh Burcham; and a host of loving great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
