Martha Elise (Tschantre) Dixon

Martha Tschantre Dixon age 81 of Muscle Shoals, Al. passed away Saturday January 5, 2019. In accordance with her wishes the family will hold a private graveside service in Colbert Memorial Gardens. There will be a memorial service Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church of Sheffield, with the Rev. Jaina Glaze officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship Hall.

Martha was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Sheffield. She loved working in her yard and loved her animals.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents: Maurice and Avabelle Tschantre, and her nephews Bart and Brett Frederick.

Martha was survived by her children; son Wes Dixon and wife Kim of Muscle Shoals, daughters; Lisa Creel of Muscle Shoals, and Dana Capers of Houston TX. Sister: Susan Frederick and husband Bill of Owensboro, Ky.

Grandchildren: Wyatt Creel and wife Heather, Matt Creel and wife Jennifer, Jamie Dixon, Chelsea King and husband Scott, Trey Capers and Elise Capers.  Great  granddaughter  McKenzie Creel.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to First Presbyterian Church Second Harvest fund.
