Nettie Pearl Byrd, 81, of Sheffield, AL passed away Thursday, December 22, 2017. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the chapel. Brother Charlie James will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Myrtle Speegle; husband, V.L. Byrd; daughters, Linda Faye Byrd, Regina Flannagin; brothers and sister; son, Danny Wayne Byrd.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Lee Byrd (Brenda) and Phillip Dale Byrd (Libby); daughters, Tina Strange (Jerry), Melodie Byrd (Michael) and Jennifer Vernon; Sisters; Pauline Bowling, Betty Aday and Sharon Michael . grandchildren, Amanda Byrd, Jessica Byrd, Josh Byrd, Clint Byrd, and Brittany Strange; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
