Philip Lee Pounders, 62, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 12-3 p.m. with service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Richard McDonald will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. He was a member of Mt Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Pounders was preceded in death by his parents, James and Erie Pounders.
Survivors are wife of 43 years, Fretricia “Joy” Pounders; one loving daughter, Stacey Roberts (Dwayne); brothers, Michael Pounders (Joan) and David Pounders (Charlotte); two love of his life grandchildren, Justin Roberts girlfriend, (Grace Cobb) and Paige Roberts; nieces, Pam Wilburn, Devona Denton (Roger), Kim Richardson (Ricky), Melissa Pounders; great nephews, Jordan Denton and Tyler Richardson; great niece, Alana Posey and her daughter, Laney. Brother in law Robbie Anderson (Melissa). Pallbearers are Jordan Denton, Robbie Anderson, Ricky Richardson, Justin Roberts, Roger Agee, Keith Smith, Tommy Britton, and Carson Peoples
