Richard W. Walker

Richard W. Walker, 70, passed away Fri., Jan. 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Hickman, KY, retired from Browns Ferry, a Vietnam Veteran, and a decan of Hampton Heights Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sun., Jan. 21, from 5-7 P.M. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be Mon., Jan 22, at 1 P.M. Barrett Long and Jeremy Sanderson will be officiating.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Walker.

Survivors are his wife, Margie Walker of 47 years; three sons, Ricky Walker (Sarah), Dewayne Walker (Alicha), and Jason Walker (Lindsey); one daughter, Amanda Walker Johnson (Jesse); one brother, Glenn Walker; three sisters, Wanda Parker, Brenda Thomas, and Shirley Poole; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Walker, Dewayne Walker, Jason Walker, Kevin Bevens, Jesse Johnson, and David Hooks.

Honorary pallbearers are Devon Walker, Connor Johnson, Ed Johnson, Charles Willis, and Dwight Jones.
