Roy Carl McCormack, Jr.

Roy Carl McCormack, Jr., 69, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away September 2, 2019. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The service will be at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 2 p.m. Gatus Cheatham will officiate service. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. He retired as an electrician with TVA. He was a member of TN Valley Country Club and a member of Launch Point Church. Roy served in Vietnam in the 75th Ranger Regiment where he received a Medal of Valor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Offie McCormack and Albert and Bennie Lou Turbyfill.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda McCormack; son, Jeffrey Carl McCormack; daughters, Tracy Kuhlman (Kenny) and Amy Gregory (Anthony); sister, Sandra Baggett; beloved dog, Maci; grandchildren, Taylor Wilson, Jacob Gable, Andy, Madison, Austin, and Annabel Gregory.

Pallbearers will be Drew Clark, Jamie White, Kevin Thompson, Tom Vandiver, Dale Wright, Wiley Thompson, and Ron Daniels. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Berryman, Hudson Hatton, Mike Hatton, Richard Hatton, Tommy Hatton, Mark Chamblee, Jimmy Isbell, and Dan McCormack.
