Alan Langford Obituary

Alan D. Langford, 76, of Sheffield, AL, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was the husband to Jenny Langford.

He worked 30 years with Martin Supply Company. He rode for the Christian Motorcycle Association, was an area rep for several years, he was an auxiliary deputy sheriff for many years in Colbert County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Eathel Langford; sister, Beverly Ellsperman; sister-in-law, Beverly Langford.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny Langford of twenty years; stepson, Jimmy Cross (Jennifer) and Thomas Cross (Chealsea); step daughter, Michelle Thompson (Roger) and Melissa Fisher (Ryan); brothers, Jimmy Langford, Richard Langford, and David Langford (Margaret); grandchildren, Brian Cross, Lexi Thompson, Austin Cross, Taylor Fisher, Rachel Cross, James Cross, Ashton Fisher, Colton Thompson, Marissa Cross, Valerie Cross, Cody, Camas (Nellie), Alex, José; great grandchildren, Alayah and Oaklee Camas; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a very loved papa, husband, and father.

Pallbearers will be family.
