Annie Ogletree Obituary

Annie Louise Ogletree, 95 of Sheffield passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, in Florence, Alabama. Visitation will be Monday, February 8, 2021 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A graveside service will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.  Bro. David Lee will officiate the service. Burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens

Mrs. Ogletree was a member of Park Terrace Presbyterian Church in Sheffield, and a longtime member of the former Highland United Methodist Church in Sheffield. She loved quilting, cooking and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Thomas E. Ogletree, and grandson John David Lawler, Sr. She was the last surviving child of parents Charles and Mary Elizabeth McVay.

Mrs. Ogletree is survived by her daughter Joyce Ann Lawler (Johnny), Linda Carol Jordan (Steven), and Mary Sue Troup (Douglas); son Michael Edward Ogletree; grandchildren Jason Christopher Lawler, Matthew Steven Jordan, Bryan David Jordan, and Jennifer Elizabeth Black; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are John David Lawler, Jr., Chris Lawler, Matt Jordan, Bryan Jordan, Harris Jordan, and Jerit Black.
