Barbara "Boogee" Howell

Barbara “Boogee” Howell, of Muscle Shoals, died at the age of 76 on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2018 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 11:45-12:45p.m., with a Graveside Service to follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens at 1p.m. Officiating will be Brother J.D. Harrison.

Preceding Barbara in death were her parents, O.C. and Aurelia Davis; husband, John W. Howell, Sr.; daughter, Kelly Kerby; and seven siblings.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Howell, Jr.; daughters, Lee Ann Howell and Nikki Ryan; brother, Jim Davis; sister, Peggy Cobb; grandchildren, Jordan Kerby Jones, Cody Kerby, Alison Schurfeld, and Angel Tucker; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Ryan and Ava Jones; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Members of the family will serve as pallbearers.

The family sends special thanks to the Cobb and Woodrome families for all the support shown to our family, and to Boogee’s best friend Leslie Kiser for always being there.
