Obituary
Carolyn Andrews, 81, of Sheffield, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, after a brief illness. Carolyn was a Christian and a member of York Bluff Baptist Church. Carolyn loved children and she retired from teaching after 34 enjoyable years at Underwood Elementary School. After her retirement, Carolyn spent her time caring for others, gardening, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Jeff Andrews; brother, Gary Jordan; sister-in-law, Barbara Jordan; as well as her nieces and nephews, Jason, David, Ashley, and Zach.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Walter Andrews, parents, Walter and Sona Jordan; brother, Tommy Jordan; and sister-in-law, Sharon Jordan.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 11am until 1pm. The funeral service will follow at 1pm in Colbert Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield. Brother Eddie Wix will officiate the service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
