Clara Amelia (Mitchell) Jeffreys

Clara Amelia Jeffreys, 81, of Muscle Shoals, died on Sunday, December 02, 2018. Visitation will be held 11-1p.m. on Tuesday, December 04, 2018 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1p.m. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Officiating will be Brother Rich Hardeman.

Clara was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church and worked for Shoals Nursing Home for over 20 years in the dietary department.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Carl “Vernon” Jeffreys; and son, Steve Everett Jeffreys.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Jeffreys McGee, and Carol Jeffreys Clarke; grandchildren, James Marcus Taylor and Amelia McGee Wilson (Todd), both of Muscle Shoals, and Ben Matlock, of Florence; great-grandchildren, Jay David Wilson and Madelyn Grace Wilson; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members.

Pallbearers will be David Jeffreys, Royce Mask, Jeff Smith, Nick Mercier, Dale Jeffreys, and Nathan Mitchell.
