Clarence D Roberts, Jr.

Clarence D. Roberts, Jr., 83, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away, Sunday, August 26, 2018. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 11a.m. – 1 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with the service to follow at 1 p.m.  Brother Greg Beasley and Mark Warren will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church before moving to Alabama in 2013 he lived in New Johnsonville, TN for many years. He was a former member of Trace Creek Baptist.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Daniel Roberts, Sr. and Mary Roberts; wife, Lila Lee Harvey Roberts.

He is survived by his sisters, Gail Keeton of Montgomery and Sara Maddox (Tommy) of Birmingham; sister-in-law’s, Nellie Campbell and Martha Michael of Muscle Shoals; numerous nieces.

Pallbearers will be Greg Sanders, Russ Lynch, Randy Polk, Mark Cupps, Lewis Frederick, and Frankie LaBoone. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men’s Sr. Adult class of Valley Grove Baptist Church.

Memorial may be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church or Trace Creek Baptist.
