Donny Montgomery

Donny Montgomery, 65, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Gatus Cheatham will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He retired from Bellsouth after 30 plus years of loyal service.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Don Montgomery; parents, James and Nell Montgomery; brothers, Jimmy Montgomery and Mack Montgomery.

Survivors are his daughters, Amy Bishop (Britt) and Amber Montgomery Montoya; mother of children, Gail Terry; brother, Bobby Montgomery (Melanie); grandchildren, Caroline Bishop, Jacob Bishop, Gracie Montoya, Adleigh Montoya, and Josie Montoya; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Brian Bishop, Jacob Bishop, Michael Montgomery, Doug Montgomery, Kirt Jeffreys, and Chad Boatwright. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Montgomery, Ben Montgomery, Neal Willis, and Mike Abernathy.
