Dudley Vandiver

Dudley Vandiver, age 75 of Leighton, Al passed away Tuesday July 4, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be Thursday July 6, 2023 from 5-7pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Friday July 7, 2023 at 11am at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Poplar Creek. Dr. Travis Wilson will be officiating. He was a machinist for Reynolds and later for Wise Alloys until he retired. He retired for a second time as a machine shop instructor for Northwest Shoals Community College

Dudley was preceded in death by his parents; Riley and Hazel Vandiver, Infant sister Deborah Vandiver and brother-in-law Elliott Rikard.

He is survived by his wife; Connie Vandiver and daughter; Chris Irrgang (Charlie), brother; Douglas Vandiver (Shelby), sisters; Janice Rikard and Amy Holt (Terry). Grandchildren; Catherine Irrgang and William Irrgang. Numerous Nephews and Nieces.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Jett, Ken Jett, John Timmons, Logan McInnish, Jonathan Holt and Jeremy Holt. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Ricky Richardson, Allen Morgan, Larry Coan and Lanny Coan.

In lieu of flowers please give to the National Kidney Foundation at 30 East 33rd Street New York, NY 10016.
