Homer "Wade" McCollum, Jr.

Homer Wade McCollum Jr. passed away on June 25, 2018, at the age of 56. Wade was the plant supervisor at Robbins LLC. He was married to Peggy on October 20, 2000. Wade was passionate about life and loved his family dearly. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, raising money for St. Jude, and hanging out with friends. He and his wife enjoyed spending time together in the mountains each fall where they would spend their anniversary. 

A memorial service will be held at Colbert Memorial Chapel June 27, 2018. Visitation will be from 3-4 pm with service to follow. Adam McCollum and Eric Taylor will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Wade is survived by his wife, Peggy McCollum; sons, Adam (Pamela) Jones and Marc (Stacy) Jones; daughters Miranda (Joel) Kimbrough and Chelsea (Ben) Long; brothers Tim (Robin) McCollum and Randy (Kim) McCollum; sister Cindy (William) Sullivan; Grandchildren Lexi Jones, Allie Scott, Josh Kiker, Cade Jones, Tucker Jones, Laken, Aiden, and Emery McCollum, Mason Kennamore, and Adelaide Long.
