J.R. Watson

J.R. (Peck) Watson, 87, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Friday, November 22, 2019. Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Colbert Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Peck was in the Navy, and then retired from Ford Motor Company. He loved to fish. He would have celebrated 53 years of marriage in December.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adelene Watson; parents, Oscar M. and Era Myers Watson; and son, Larry Watson.

He is survived by his children, Joe and Cathy Watson of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Richard and Ramona Pace of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Randy and Polly Pace of Opp, Alabama, and Beth Ann Ogletree of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; grandchildren, Wade Watson, Patrick Watson, Richie Watson, Monica Clark, Dylan Motes, Matt Watson, Erica Rosati, Joey Pace, Gracie Shaneyfelt, Peyton Pace, and Lauren Shaneyfelt; great grandchildren, Emma Perry, Isaac Watson, Patrick Watson Jr., Zoé  Watson, Aubree Motes, Jo Anna Watson, and Kessler Vickery.

Pallbearers will be Wade Watson, Patrick Watson, Richie Watson, Dylan Motes, Joey Pace, and Peyton Pace.
