Jessie Leon Fisher

Jessie Leon Fisher, Sr. 61, passed away November 16 year of our lord 2019. He was a resident of Tuscumbia, Alabama. Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Del Huckaba will be officiating. Burial will be in Vandiver Hollow Cemetery. He was a member of Vandiver Hollow Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Eliza Fisher; brother, Danny Ray Fisher and sister, Brenda Elaine Fisher; brother-in-law’s, Danny Thrasher and Jimmy Fuller.

He is survived by his son, Jesse Leon Fisher, Jr. (Kimberlee); daughter, Betty Renee Huckaba (Del); brother, Paul Fisher (Karen); sisters, Elizabeth Rogers (Woodrow), Peggy Gail Thrasher, Donna Fay Fuller, Sherril Hand (Douglas), Sarah Pearl Fisher and Cheryl Smith; grandchildren, Molly, Vallaree, Lillian, Izzie, and Fallon. Some people called him Leon, Jessie, Rusty, son, brother and Papaw but we called him Dad and Daddy.

Pallbearers will be Terry Fuller, Wayne Thrasher, Robert Wade, Brian Vandiver, Jimmy Vess, and Jimmy Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Fuller and Hunter Smallwood.
