Obituary

Leon Allen Hunter, 87, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. There will be a private service held at a later time. Thad Looser will officiate.

He retired from Reynolds Reclamation and was a small business owner. He loved his family and friends, especially his grandkids. He always found pleasure in doing his work. He enjoyed helping his family and friends. Leon loved his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aldon Leon and Emma Gertrude Hunter; brothers, Bradley and Langston Hunter.

He is survived by his son, Steven Hunter (Fran); daughter, Vicki Looser (Chuck); sister, Doris Hunter Lowery; grandchildren, Thad Looser (Betsy), Rece Looser (Melanie), Stephanye Hunter (Adam), Emma Chorneau (Nick), and Will Hunter (Casey); great grandchildren, Will Looser, Mary Kate Looser, Nora Looser, Charlie Looser, Coulter Chorneau; numerous nieces and nephews.

Our dad was loved by all and will be missed by many. He never met a stranger.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
