Leslie C. “Bubber” Burrus, Jr., 89, of Waterloo, AL passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2019 surrounded by his family. He grew up in Nashville and graduated from Litton High School, Class of 1949.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Charlsie Mai Burrus; sister, Charlsie Mai Burrus Williams; nephew, James “J.B.” Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Raper Burrus of 46 years; children, John Burrus, Clay Burrus (Jean), Emily Burrus Lansford (Ronnie), Joel Burrus, Brandy Burrus Bullis, Leslie Burrus Zabel (Shawn); grandchildren, Joshua Livingston, Dallas Livingston, Sage Burrus, Jordan Olmos, Alex Bullis, Lauren Zabel, and Nikolas Bullis; great grandchildren, Hagen, Lilly, Siena, Ximena, Brooks, Phoenix; special nieces, Linda Kemp, Judy Wilson, & Libby Gregory; and special fur baby, Meggie.

A private family memorial service will be at a later date.
